You will not find poetry anywhere unless you bring some of it with you. Joseph Joubert

People

have no face
to wear for subservience
No fire ever singed
their emotions
for crocs
What is tear is particle water.

Breathing leaves

know no trade
fickle emotions gather
no intellect
how much for a limb
of mine and moon
Bubbles need
to buy passion

Toed wheels

have forgotten
their tongue of vowels.
Breathing is just a mechanism
that provokes lust
for machines
and mayflies.

a little vague. i mean, you seem to be generalizing. it would make a little more sense if you replaced people with something else..

The ending is desperately good.

I do not know whether the girl who picked up Sylvia actually read it... I can only hope that she did.

My mistake posting it on 'People'...
Long back I saw a school-girl picking up Sylvia at the book-fair. You'd asked me few months back (posting your question in my blog) whether she'd actually read it... It was in that context.
